Christine Booth

Christine Booth, 77, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1013 at her home. She was born June 17, 1936. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Bronson, Kans.

Chris Booth was a talented cosmetologist for most of her life, and also owned and operated an assisted living home Booth Place in Bronson, for many years, before retiring to Grove, Okla.

A son, Danny Heistand, preceded her in death. Also, preceding her in death were two brothers, William Glen Denney and Robert Osborne Denney and her sister, Loretta Faye Lane.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Booth, of the home; and two children: Glenda Flowers of Grove, Okla. and Kenneth Heistand of Cameron, Mo.; two step-children Bonnie Booth, Lawrence, Kans. and John Booth and wife, Susan, of Moran, Kans. There are eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Christine Booth was a member of the Eastern Star Kincaid Chapter. Her hobbies were cooking, gardening, humming birds, yard sales and spending time with family and friends.
