Robert Earl Bruce, Jr.

Robert Earl Bruce, Jr., 55 of Fort Scott, died Friday afternoon, Aug. 30, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1958 in Geneva, Ill., the son of Robert Earl and Virginia Carol McCraigh Bruce. He married Sherry Kay Latino on Nov. 21, 1980, in Fort Scott, she survives of the home.

He was as a cook at the local McDonald's Restaurant.

In addition to his wife Sherry, he is survived by a son, Robert P. Bruce, a daughter, Tina Bruce, two granddaughters, Matisyn and Aryonna Bruce, and his mother, Virginia Bruce all of the home.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and Friends will meet at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday and leave for the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. The Family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
