Gwen Hemmingway Sullivan

Gwen Hemmingway Sullivan, age 85, a former resident of Fort Scott and more recently of Ada, Okla., passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2013, at the Wildwood Care Center in Tulsa, Okla., where she had been a patient for a short time. Gwen grew up in Fort Scott where she attended local schools and graduated with the high school class of 1945. Gwen lived the last 40-some years of her life in Ada, Okla., where she was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Sullivan and her husband, T.S. "Sandy" Sullivan.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug 23 at the Criswell Funeral Home, 815 E. Arlington, Ada, Okla.
