Bertha Carolyn Wise

Bertha Carolyn Wise, age 75, former resident of Uniontown and Fort Scott, Kan. died early Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Chariton Park Healthcare Center, Salisbury, Mo. She was born July 17, 1937, in Durango, Colo., the daughter of William and Grace Emma (Calhoun) Semler.

Survivors include a son, Mark Wise and wife Candida, of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Linda Brown and husband Lynn Moore, Jr., of Dallas, Texas; and four grandchildren, Tristan and Commora Wise, and Jordan and Jason Brown.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, Fort Scott, Kansas. Online condolences may be sent expressions@konantz-cheney.com.
