The event, led by Tom Seay and Del Shields, hosts of "Best of America by Horseback" on the RFD-TV network, was part of activities kicking off the 17th annual Echoes of the Trail Cowboy Gathering this weekend at the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center at Fort Scott Community College.

The ride was slated to be filmed and televised at a later date on the "Best of America by Horseback" program.
