A gentle trickle of water flows from an antique spout into a small pond that is the centerpiece of a lush collection of flowers and plants. Homeowner and gardener Rita Emmerson highlights some of the features of her backyard flower garden as the water quietly circulates, providing a serene rhythm to her colorful backyard operation at 1805 S. Holbrook St.
Emmerson's garden is one of six selected for the Bourbon County Master Gardeners and Garden Club Secret Garden Tour 2013, which will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday June 15.
