Hidden treasures wait for teams in fundraiser race

Treasure hunting enthusiasts or maybe people who are just seeking a little fun, exercise and teamwork can lace up their shoes for an event Saturday sponsored by the Scottish Rite Temple and Buck Run Community Center.

Organizers of the "Race for the Hidden Treasures of Fort Scott," set to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, contains elements of both the popular television show "The Amazing Race," and the series of "National Treasure" movies distributed by Walt Disney Pictures about the adventures of a treasure hunter and others.
