The Bronson City Council has been working to rehabilitate houses in the community, rather than condemn and tear them down.

An independent committee was formed in the town and work began on a housing rehabilitation survey from the Kansas Department of Commerce to investigate funds for rehabilitating houses in need of major repair in the city. City Treasurer Larry Neville, who is spearheading the committee for the council, reported to the city council meeting on Monday.
