Mercy Hospital offers brain injury support group

A local brain injury support group is extending an invitation to anyone in the Bourbon County area to join them.

"They've been wanting to increase the size of the group," said Jody Brillhart, who helps facilitate the group. The group is currently comprised of seven people, and a couple of facilitators.

The group, which calls itself the Brainstormers, meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month in the Xavier Room near the cafeteria of Mercy Hospital Fort Scott.
