Baseball camp on May 1

Fort Scott Community College baseball recently announced that it will hold a youth baseball clinic sponsored by 5 Corners Mini-Mart of Fort Scott from 5 to 6:30 p.m. May 1 at Lions Field on the FSCC campus. The camp is being organized and run by Greyhound baseball coaches and players.

Fundamentals of hitting, throwing, infield, outfield, and base running will all be covered during the camp. The clinic is open to youth ages 4 to 14. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt and have the opportunity after the camp to receive autographs from Greyhound players.

Cost of the camp is $10. Registration will begin at 4:30 the day of camp. In case of rain, the camp will be held in the indoor training facility.
