Teola Arbutus (Marlett) Parsell, age 79 of Oregon City, died Dec. 19, 2012, after 23 years of battling melanoma.

She was born in Fort Scott, Kan., on Feb. 13, 1933, to Lige and Iva (Hillman) Marlett.
