Fort Scott Nile Club holds Christmas party with guests

Members of the Fort Scott Nile Club held their annual Christmas party Dec. 11 in Zimmerman Hall of First Presbyterian Church.

Kathy Reed catered the meal. Guests were spouses and friends of the members. Queen Diana Mason and Princess Royal Lindsay Deringer were also guests.

A gift exchange was held between the members. Clara Schwartz provided gift bags for the spouses and guests. The members were also given a book of recipes collected by Jackie Warren and Joyce Gobl.

The Cherry Grove Jammers Trio provided Christmas music.

The January meeting of the Nile Club will be prior to joining the Fort Scott Shrine Club for the Potentate's visit.
