Many travel home for Thanksgiving holiday

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stringer hosted Thanksgiving dinner for their daughter and granddaughter, Rhonda Marliss Allen and their son, Jim Stringer, Rogers, Ark.

Jerry and Sue Mildfelt hosted Thanksgiving dinner for their daughter and grandson, Leanne Burris Tyler and Kevin, all of Parsons, their son and family, Tom, Sandy and Hunter Mildfelt, Sandy's dad, Irwin, all of Erie and Sue's mom, Buena Karleskint.

Ron and Linda Center, Scott Center, Lindsey Center and Ronette Center have enjoyed watching Kelsie Jo Collins play basketball on Tuesday evenings at Buck Run.

Jack and Marge Stephan hosted Thanksgiving dinner for Dennis and Leesa Stephan, Dru and Jessica Stephan, Brock and Maci Jo, Amanda and Brian Lancaster, Emily, Tessa and Wesley, all of Fort Scott, Zach Stephan, Minot, N.D., Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Strasburg, Aaron Compton, Andrew Strasburg, all of Neodesha, Mr. and Mrs. Josh Goldspine, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stephan, Wamego, Sarah Stephan, and her friend, Andrew, Kansas City, Derek Stephan and friend, Julie, Pittsburg.

Ron and Linda Center traveled to Kansas City, Nov. 7 and 21 for doctor's appointments.

Several of the Karleskint family traveled to Springfield on Friday, Nov. 23, to watch Arkansas Technical College, Russellville, Ark., play ball. Doug Karleskint, son of Jack and Gina Karleskint, is the coach. Those attending were his parents, Jack and Gina, his grandmother, Buena Karleskint, and his aunt and uncle, Sue and Jerry Mildfelt. They won the game, but had to go through three overtimes. The family enjoyed eating dinner at Chicken Annie's en route home.

Ron and Linda Center hosted Thanksgiving dinner for their family on Thanksgiving Day.

Sunday, Nov. 25, Jack and Marge Stephan joined other family and friends for the baptismal service for the twins, Maci Jo and Brock Martin, children of Dru and Jessica Stephan, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Ron and Linda Center hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the following family members on Saturday: Dave and Nadine Russell, Clinton, Mo., Kathy and Monte Dade, Golden City, Mo., Jackie and Ben Scott Solomon, Benson and Canaan, Weir, Kayla and Andrew Leavell, Lamar, Mo., Scott, Kacy Center, Lindsey Center and Kelsie Jo, Ronette Center and June Hereford.
