OES Culture Club meets

Ednamarie Jackson hosted the Bronson OES Culture Club Nov. 6.

President Julia Ann Rhoton opened the meeting with this thought, "To be happy you must make others happy."

Roll call was answered by giving your favorite Thanksgiving dish. Bonita Holeman led the flag salute and Geri Reeder led the collect.

Secretary Erma Eastwood gave her report and Treasurer Geri Reeder gave her report. Money was sent to UNICEF for safe drinking water in other countries. Christmas cards will be sent to nursing homes in the area.

The Christmas parade was discussed for the fire department. Geri Reeder gave the program on the first Thanksgiving. All members were asked to say something about their plans for Thanksgiving Day.

The Dec. 4 meeting will be a lunch at the home of Geri Reeder. The group enjoyed angel food cake and Jell-O.
