Taking precautions

Belinda Tucker, a certified nurse assistant with Mercy Clinic, tends to Maria Conradt's finger after taking a glucose screening Wednesday morning in the Mercy Hospital lobby. Screenings will take place from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. today as well. "Ideal range for a fasting blood glucose screening is between 70-100," Tucker said. "If a patient's test comes back above 110, it is recommended they see a physician for follow up and consultation."(Ruth Campbell/Tribune)
