Business competition planned

Joe Rei of MORF Consulting has announced the Achievement Planner - A Top Business Plan Competition.

The competition is open to students from Pleasanton, Jayhawk-Linn, Prairie View, Marmaton Valley, Crest and Uniontown.

All interested students and parents are invited to a "kickoff meeting" set for 10-11 a.m. Sept. 15 in the basement of Federated Church in Blue Mound, Kan.

All contestants will have the opportunity to attend eight "help meetings" for professional assistance in developing their business plans. Prizes will be awarded to the top business plans.
