Addition to Mercy Clinic announced
Mercy Clinic has announced that Pamela Moyer has joined the practice full time as of July 17.
Moyer's primary responsibilities are providing coverage at all Mercy Family Medicine Clinic locations, including Mercy Convenient Care clinics.
Moyer's clinical experience includes work as a nurse practitioner at a specialty cardiology practice, a graduate assistant for the nursing department at Southeast Missouri State University and other leadership roles in nursing.
She is licensed as a family nurse practitioner and is a board-certified advanced registered nurse. Moyer also holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support.
She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University.
Moyer is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and has been published in The Journal of School Nursing: "Perceptions of School Nurses regarding Childhood Obesity," April 2005.
