To the victors go the Polar Plunge spoils

For raising the most money to donate to Special Olympics, students in Doris Cullor's and Carolyn Segebartt's class at Winfield Scott Elementary School were able to throw a pie in Principal Billie Jo Drake's face on Friday. The two students chosen to throw the pie were Jared Strong and Alexa Bukowski, who are in the leadership club for the class. Students at both schools raised more than $2,100 for Special Olympics by bringing in change that filled up water bottles in the classrooms. The winning class at Winfield Scott got to have a party and throw a pie in Drake's face. At Eugene Ware, the winning class received an extra recess and a party.(Submitted Photo)
