City plans public meeting on closing Mill Creek Bridge

The city of Fort Scott is considering closing the vintage 1927 Mill Creek bridge on North Crawford Street, located south of Max's Way Station and east of Walnut Hill, according to its website.

A public gathering for all interested individuals regarding the span closing will be held at 5 p.m. March 6 at City Hall, 123 S. Main.

All comments regarding this bridge will be heard at that time.
