County Attorney Ramsey addressed letters to all of the rural school teachers in Bourbon County asking that they cooperate more closely in the enforcement of the anti-cigarette law over this county. The complaint has been made many times that boys under age are using tobacco in violation of the laws of the state. The teachers are asked to remonstrate with the boys against the use of tobacco in any form and to endeavor to in that manner prevent its further use. Should they fail in that, they are asked to report to Mr. Ramsey the names of boys who persist in its use. Should this be done, prosecution will follow. The teachers also are asked, if possible, to learn from whom the boys are obtaining tobacco.

News of Farmers and Farming (By Harry V. Cowan, The Tribune Farm Editor)
A farmer and his wife, who have been milking a bunch of cows this winter to provide a cash income, say that during January when they had to take their cows off the bluegrass and wheat pasture and buy high-priced feed -- it was more like doing the job for the fun of it! It took all the money they received from the sale of milk to buy feed -- and perhaps a little more money -- and they said they were just milking the cows to get more milk ... to get more money...to buy more feed ... and were just going 'round and 'round!
