The last few days have caused a rush of farmers to the market and many of them have brought in a load of produce of some kind. Yesterday, at one time, there were 16 loads of coal on the Square, all of which was disposed of during the day. A total of 20 loads was weighed yesterday by Judge Shipp. All of this coal has brought 14 cents to 15 cents on the market and has found a ready sale.
State Factory Inspector O'Brien spent yesterday in the city and while here made an inspection of the picture shows. He found that in some places the state laws are not being properly complied with and stated that warrants would be asked for the arrest of the proprietors unless the necessary improvements were made at once. County Attorney Ramsey was out of the city yesterday and Mr. O'Brien could not confer with him concerning the prosecution.
