Steven D. Page
Steven D. Page, 63, of West Palm Beach, Fla., died suddenly on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. Born in Fort Scott, Kan., he was a resident of the Palm Beach area since 2003 and worked as a Property Manager at the Palm Club in West Palm Beach. Truly a man among men, Steve was a retired U.S. Navy veteran with 23 years of service to our country; and an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and golfer. Above all, he loved his Florida Gators, having directed the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in Jacksonville for nearly seven years. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Walter Page.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Marx Page of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two children, Thomas Page of Orlando, Fla., and Michelle Page of Key West, Fla.; his mother, Lavone Cox Page of Kansas; a sister, Lois Brillhart and her husband, Dale, also of Kansas; two brothers, Tom Page and his wife, Jonna, of Idaho, and Bill Page and his wife, Beverly, of Kansas; a brother-in-law, Joe Marx and his wife, Krista, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, including Military Honors, was held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Steven D. Page to the Florida Opportunity Scholarships Fund at the University of Florida Foundation in care of the University of Florida Gift Processing, P.O. Box 14425, Gainesville, FL 32604.
