UNA LADELL WELLS

Una Ladell Wells, 79, a resident of Fort Scott, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the home of a friend in rural Cherokee, Kansas. She was born Jan. 31, 1932, at Petersburg, Kan., the daughter of Willis Wells and Goldia Weston Wells.

Una had worked for both Aaron's Produce and Key Work Clothes. She later was employed for 27 years at the Parsons Ammunition Plant.

Survivors include a brother Richard Wells, Poteau, Okla., and a sister Goldie Arndt, Uniontown, Kan.

There was cremation. Private family burial will take place at a later date at the Uniontown Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kan.
