John Eric Waldmer, 64, of Mound City, Kan., died Monday, July 18, 2011, at the Kansas City V.A. Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 25, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Mound City, Kan.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Mound City. The family suggests contributions to the Wayside Waifs. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
