Presbyterian Manors announces leadership realignment

WICHITA -- William M. Ward Jr., president of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America Inc., and PMMA's board of trustees, announces the promotion of PMMA Chief Financial Officer Bruce H. Shogren to president and chief executive officer of Presbyterian Manors of Mid America's three subsidiary corporations, Presbyterian Manors Inc., Aberdeen Village Inc. and Ashfield Active Living and Wellness Communities Inc., doing business as Aberdeen Heights. PMMA is the parent company of Fort Scott Presbyterian Manor. In his new role as president and CEO, Shogren is responsible for supervising, directing and controlling the business and officers of the subsidiary corporations, as well as developing and monitoring organizational policy and overseeing activities that relate to the growth and strategy of PMI. With the addition of Aberdeen Heights in Kirkwood, Mo., and major campus renovations at Aberdeen Village in Olathe, Topeka Presbyterian Manor and Wichita Presbyterian Manor, the board of trustees announced that Ward will remain president of the parent company, Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America Inc. He will continue to serve as liaison between PMMA and its constituents including residents, churches, businesses and the communities that PMMA serves. In addition, Shogren will serve as CEO of PMMA, working with Ward to direct the business and oversee the development and future growth of the parent company.
