Glenn Dennis Woodward, age 67, a former resident of Bronson and more recently of Topeka, Kan., died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Countryside Health Care Center in Topeka.

He was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Newton, Kan., the son of Benjamin Franklin Woodward and Susie Koehn Woodward.

Glenn graduated from the Bronson High School and Fort Scott Junior College. He later served with the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.

In his earlier years, he attended the Bronson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four brothers: Myron Woodward and wife Margie, Tulsa, Okla.; Richard Woodward and wife Barbara, Bronson; Vernon Woodward, Bronson; and Luther Woodward and wife Hazel, Burke, Va.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Hoobler and Marjorie Ensminger.

Rev. Chub Bolling will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel.
