29th Annual Spelling Bee winners

The Fort Scott Recreation Commission hosted its 29th Annual Spelling Bee on February 26. The competition consited of local students in grades one through five. The winners are:

Fifth grade division (Top left): First place, Micah Self (left) from Christian Heights and second place, Isabella Provence (right) from Eugene Ware Elementary School.

Fourth grade division (Bottom left): First place, Matthew Campbell (right) from St. Mary's Catholic School and second place, Devyn Royal-Bey (left) from Eugene Ware Elementary School.

Third grade division (Top right): First place, Zoe Self (right) from Christian Heights and second place, Christion Ase (left) from Eugene Ware Elementary School.

Second grade division (Middle right): First place, Will Wunderly (left) from St. Mary's Catholic School and second place, Dylan Martin (right) from Winfield Scott Elementary School.

First grade division (Bottom right): First place, Justin Miles (left) from Christian Heights and second place, Shekhar Gugnani (right) from St. Mary's Catholic School.
