Families celebrate birthdays, being snowed in

Joe and Shirley White joined other family members at Chicken Mary's to help celebrate the birthday of their daughter, Susan McBride, Arma.

Wayne and Marge Stringer, her sister, Phyllis and Howard Johnson had dinner at the home of her brother, Dale and Iris VanMeter, Thayer. They were celebrating the birthdays of Dale, Phyllis and Howard.

Linda Center enjoyed being snowed in with children and grandchildren while recuperating from surgery.

Joe and Shirley White attended a birthday party for their great-granddaughter, Madi Jo Thurston's 10th birthday, at her home.

Carol Carter and Janet Keefer, both of Lenexa, visited their parents, Carney and Estalee Simpson. They all enjoyed eating at Chicken Annie's.

Feb. 18, Shirley White joined 15 other ladies at the home of Jean Vaughn in Prescott and enjoyed playing Bunco.

Dale and Betty Hixon enjoyed joining other members of the motorcycle club at the home of Fred and Eloise Wright. They enjoyed eating what they call "chili dump."

Feb. 19th, Joe and Shirley White attended a surprise birthday party In honor of Linda McBride at a local restaurant in Nevada. Their were 34 in attendance.

Pat and Mike Worford, Springfield visited with her mother, Buena Karleskint, last Saturday.
