Families enjoy birthdays, Thanksgiving celebrations together

Joe and Shirley White attended a birthday party for Lucas Dark's third birthday. The party was at the home of his parents, Mike and Marsha Dark in Fort Scott.

Sue and Jerry Mildfelt hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the following family, Leanne Burris and Tyler, Tom and Sandy Mildfelt and family, Irwin Diedrick, all of Parsons; and her mother, Buena Karleskint. Joining them in the afternoon was Sue's sister, Pat and Mike Worford, Springfield, Mo.

Joe and Shirley White traveled to Burlington, Kan., to the home of her brother, Bill and Donna Adams for Thanksgiving. They were joined by all her brothers and families. There were 48 in all enjoying food, reminiscing and visiting.

Ron and Linda Center hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the following family. June Hereford, Frank Hereford, Ronette Center, Scott, Kacy and James Center, Lindsey Center, Kelsie Jo Collins, Grant Center, Memphis, Tenn., Bill Ramage, Rich Hill, and Ron Carlisle.

Joe and Shirley White traveled to Kansas City Nov. 23 for a doctor's appointment.

Norma Hoyt Page and Bill Eshelbrenner spent Thanksgiving Day at the home of her daughter, Gail and Tim Daly, Peculiar, Mo.

Saturday, Nov. 27, Ron and Linda Center traveled to Weir, Kan., to the home of their niece, Ben and Jackie Scott, Solomon and Benson, for their family Thanksgiving dinner, joining them were, Nadine Easter, Clinton, David Russell, Lansing, Ronette and Lindsey Center, Kelsie Jo Collins, Scott, Kacy Center and James, Kathy Monty Dade, Kayla, Andrew, Janesssa and James, Golden City, Mo.

Carney and Estalee Simpson opened their home to many family members over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 26 and 27, Sheena and Andrew German, Alyssa Harvey and Benjamin, all of Savannah, Ga., Janet Keefer, and Carol Carter, both of Lenexa, were there. Their son, Roger and Kristen Simpson Harley and Jonas, Double Oak, Texas, were there from Nov. 21 to 26. Their son, Larry and Teresa Simpson, Savannah, Ga., joined all of them Nov. 25-27. Ray and Carol Carter, Nathan and Patrick, Lenexa, joined all of the family for Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Janet and Mike Keefer and Matthew in Lenexa.

Jack and Marge Stephan enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the home of their daughter, Jim and Sharon Stewart. Joining them were, Margaret Stewart, Don and Brenda Nichols, their son Don and family and daughter and family, all of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Stephan, Brian and Amanda Lancaster and girls, Dru and Jessica Stephan, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stephan, Wamego, Sarah and son Derrick, Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart and family, Ben Stewart, Iola, Allisan Strasburg, Haley, Aaron and Josh Fredonia.

Ron and Linda Center traveled to Kansas City, Nov. 23 for a doctor's appointment. They enjoyed doing some Christmas shopping, and dinner before returning home.
