Becky had a strong faith and was an exemplary citizen of God. As such, she was an integral member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and served the congregation through the roles of Church Elder, Sunday school teacher, youth group leader and board member.

With passions for helping others and the Spanish language, Becky lived in Mexico and Puerto Rico; she also participated in mission trips to Honduras. She was an avid lover of the outdoors and an accomplished marksman. Further, her love for animals was evident in that she always had at least one dog and a cat keeping her company. Cooking was a favorite hobby of Becky's and she at one point owned a catering business with a friend. Her famous french bread loaves were loved by all and her grandchildren have fond memories of baking the loaves with her.

Most important to Becky was spending time with and watching the activities of her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her great capacity to love, her infectious laugh, her hugs and her willingness to always lend a hand or listening ear.
