NEVC Town Hall meeting set for Aug. 31

The Northeast Vernon County R-1 school will conduct a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 8 p.m., in the high school gymnasium at the Walker campus, following a volleyball triangular between Ballard, Sheldon and NEVC.

The district will provide information and conduct a question-and-answer sesson. All interested district patrons are encouraged to attend.

A property tax rate hearing also is scheduled for 7 o'clock that evening.
