NHS All-School Reunion plans progressing

"Plans are progressing nicely for this year's two-day affair," saidNevada High School All-School Reunion chairperson Jeff Tweeten. The festivities will be held on Friday, Oct.15 and Saturday, Oct. 16.

Planned events include decade reunions, dances, dinners, football game and other festivities scheduled at various venues across town. One item on the schedule receiving a lot of attention is the Retired Teachers' Reception, to be held in the high school commons area on Saturday, Oct. 16, between 10 a.m. and noon.

Walk-in registration continues at the Nevada Vernon County Chamber of Commerce offices and on-line at www.NHSreunions.com. Paper registration forms and posters can also be printed from that site. Telephone inquires can be made by calling (417) 448-0360 or (417) 667-5300.

Numerous class member lists have been added to the 2010 Reunion data base, but the steering committee is still missing up-to-date contact information for some classes. Those who have class lists are asked to call the number above for instruction as where to send the digital information or, if all that's available is contact information on paper, please fax that list to (253) 590-2875.

Organizers are also still looking for decade chairpersons for the 1960s and for the 2000 years. Anyone interested in assisting with either of these decades are asked to call (417) 448-0360.

Alumni are encouraged to spread the word of the upcoming NHS All-School Reunion by letting family, friends, classmates, neighbors, teachers and administrators know about this every-five-year event.
