State champs

Fort Scott's 9-year-old Cal Ripken Baseball team won the Kansas State Tournament held at Paola last weekend, winning all five games. The team will play in a Regional tournament at Scott City, Mo., that begins July 28. The Regional level is the farthest a team can advance in Cal Ripken.
