Sunbeam Christian Preschool graduation held

Sunbeam Christian Preschool held its annual graduation ceremonies on May 10-11. Marilyn Barker, director, led each class in. The children sang several songs including "From the Manger to the Cross."

After introductions, the children portrayed the Bible story of Zacchaeus. The graduates sang songs they each selected for their parents.

Mrs. Barker presented certificates to the returning students and she presented diplomas to the graduates.

In the a.m. class, the graduates were Kaleb Bailey, Mark Brackett, Dylan Bruner, Eli Cisneros, Zachary Cox, Preet Dhillon, Kendall Earnest, Brooklyn Fultz, Hayden Harris, Ry Herrin, Sydney Herrin, Graecin Jeffers, Kaitlyn Leavell, Lathan Lundberg, Weston Marbery, Cole Meanor, and Emma Mix.

In the p.m. class, she gave diplomas to Daeson Bollinger, Emma Goodbody, David Jones, Luke Karleskint, James Morillo, Taylor Parsons, Keira Phillips, Alyssa Walker, Karlee Patrick, Mackaylae Rusk, Brycen Stewart and Shiann Weddle. Connie and Stacy Walker assisted Mrs. Barker.

On May 11, the Tuesday-Thursday class performed a similar program. Mrs. Baker gave diplomas to Dominick Budy, Alice Hill, Mollie Krebs, Kyle Franks, Rylan Lee, and Drew Owens Young.

Rev. Tim Davish blessed the children. They marched out to the music "Jesus Loves Me." Connie Peterson and Megan Peterson were the assistant teachers.

Sunbeam Christian Preschool is located in the First Baptist Church, 123 Scott Avenue, Fort Scott.
