More turnout for Senior Swinger's Monday dance
The Monday night dance was very good with a few more attending this week.
Mary Sue had a little help with the table and chairs. She makes the coffee the first thing and it is ready soon after she is finished with the chairs. John and Bonnie Gaddy from Pittsburg were here early to help with them. Alva and Neva Hite were back Monday night. She has her arm in a cast and Alva is having heart trouble. He danced two or three dances though.
Carol and George Davenport were in attendance. She played the piano some for me. They still have to make a lot of trips to the doctor, but he looked good and danced quite a bit.
The folks from Nevada didn't come or the ones from Pittsburg and Blue Mound. Storms are still predicted.
They all love to do the line dance and Alva sings a good tune for it.
I am sure there is a dance at Cadmus Friday night, if there isn't, Wes always tells me.
The music was good Monday night. With Marion gone, we do miss the bass player and his singing. His wife Wanda comes with him now and helps bring in the instruments and stools he uses.
I am still grounded. I am taking a lot of medicine and my balance isn't good. I do thank everyone who helps with it all. I just hope we can keep it going.
Once in awhile someone else will join the band and we are glad to have them.
