MADISON -- Pleasanton's track team struggled somewhat at the tough Madison Invitational Friday as the Blu-Jays did not win any events. However, the level of competition here may be seen again when Class 1A Regionals are held here in about 2 1/2 weeks, so this meet could turn out to be good preparation.

Skyler Martin and Tyler Myrick led Blu-Jay boys with second-place finishes. Martin was second in discus with a throw of 128 feet, 8 inches while Myrick cleared 5' 10" in high jump.

Lindsey Conn was the highest finisher for the girls, finishing third in the 200-meter dash.
