Senior Swingers Monday dance

The Monday night dance was started with some new help putting out the tables and chairs. The help came from the Center that had offered to do what they could. Mary Sue was there to help get the kitchen ready with the coffee and water and get the table cloth on the tables. Then there were a couple more that came to help that dance.

We had a good band Monday night. Joe Willis came with Marrion Shrimplin and played his guitar and sang several numbers. We have help with others at times but Joe plays with the Nevada band and likes to fill in.

The Shumakers were back again and she played her harmonica.

The couple from Deerfield were back. They have nights that they just can't make it. I am glad to see them come in. They help with the tables and chairs when they come early and love to dance some.

We had the group do the line dance. It always goes well and the music seems to go well for the group.

There will be a dance at Nevada Friday night. They hope to keep it going. We like to go over and join them. They come over and dance with our band quite often.

The dance is cancelled at Cadmus Friday night. We go up there when we can. It is quite a ways and we group up.

The group did a good job putting the tables away. When it is all done we are glad to have help on the stage to put everything away.

We had a fair crowd Monday night but hope the group from Pittsburg will be able to make it next week. They all like to dance.
