Real estate company opens office in Fort Scott

Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland recently announced the opening of its first office, Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland, Outdoor Ventures LLC, in Fort Scott.

The new location will be operated by Jason Marbery, a long-time resident of Southeast Kansas, and brokered by Danny Jones. Marbery owns several other businesses in the Fort Scott area.

"We are very proud to be teaming up with Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland, and the idea of opening our new office in Southeast Kansas is exciting," Marbery said.

Jones has been in the real estate business since 2002, specializing in agricultural properties.

"I knew from the first time I met with Brian Smith and Rodney Coats at Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland, that these guys had the energy and know how to build a vibrant franchise with the Mossy Oak brand recognition," Jones said.

Jones, an avid outdoorsman, added, "I am truly excited to begin this venture and assist the public in their pursuit of their real estate needs. Bourbon County is one of the top five counties in the state for trophy whitetail."
