Michael Pommier/Tribune A group of students at Fort Scott Community College, a majority of whom are in the FSCC Criminal Justice program, along with some local law enforcement officers and other FSCC students and staff, watch and listen to a presentation by Scott Slifer of the Lawrence Police Department on Wednesday at the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center. Slifer also works with the FBI's Computer Crime lab in Kansas City. Slifer talked about different ways to uncover evidence during a criminal investigation, and presented details on past cases as examples of how various investigative techniques are used to solve crimes.
