Four Fort Scott Community College students are among 49 other community college students across the state who will be honored next month for their academic accomplishments.

Kansas will salute 49 top community college scholars during an award ceremony Feb. 18 at the Ramada Inn Hotel in Topeka. These scholars have been named to the 2010 All-Kansas Academic Team, sponsored by the international headquarters of the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society, the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees and the Kansas Council of Community College Presidents.

The group of outstanding community college students will be recognized during the ceremony, which also draws educators and lawmakers from Kansas each year.
