Betty Lee Morrow, age 82, former resident of 601 Wilson, Fort Scott, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Medicalodge of Fort Scott.

She was born Feb. 26, 1927 in Fort Scott, the daughter of Charles W. Atha and Delpha Mae Porter Atha.

Betty married Alfred Leon Morrow on June 5, 1992 at Chanute, Kan.

She had worked for Western Insurance Company and owned and operated Betty's Glassware and Miscellaneous located at 804 East Wall Street for 20 years.

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle. Her hobbies included artwork and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred, also of Medicalodge; one sister, Dolly McCulley, Chanute, Kan.; two cousins, Wint Seaver, Fort Scott, and Jimmy Atha, Arma, Kan.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, Connie King and husband Danny, Bernice, Okla.; Lindy McCulley and wife Clarissa, Cheney, Kan., Sherry Luden, Wichita, Randy Atha, Mulvane, and a sister-in-law, Grace Atha, Mulvane.

Pastor Paul Rooks will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m., Saturday in the Grace Baptist Tabernacle.

Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church.
