Family members attend birthday celebrations

James Center celebrated his 5th birthday for three days. On Saturday, he celebrated with a cookout at Gunn Park. There were 24 friends and family present.

After eating, they played games and James opened his gifts and everyone enjoyed birthday cake and ice cream. His cake was baked and decorated like Mickey Mouse by his Grammama. He shared treats with his Sunday School Class and Beginner Church on Sunday. His grandparents, Ron and Linda Center, hosted a dinner on Monday, his actual birthday, with family joining them.

Larry and Teresa Simpson and Jared Simpson, Savannah, Ga., visited with his parents, Carney and Estalee Simpson, Sept. 25-27. On Saturday, Sept. 26., Janet and Mike Keefer, Lenexa, joined them. Janet is Larry's sister.

June Hereford celebrated her birthday with a dinner hosted by Ron and Linda Center, Sunday, Oct. 11. Those joining them were: Danny, Jackie, Jake, Baylee and Karlee Hereford, Ronette, Scott, Kacy, James and Lindsey Center, and Kelsie Jo Collins.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carson, Chandler, Ariz., visited recently with Wayne and Marge Stringer.

Ron and Leah Lewis brought lunch and enjoyed playing cards with his mother, Marjorie Lewis, Sunday, Oct. 11.

Ron, Linda and James Center traveled to Kansas City, Oct. 6.
