Pauline Bloom, 94, formerly of Fort Scott, died early Sunday morning, Oct. 11, 2009, in Mesquite, Texas.

She was born Oct. 12, 1914 in Claremore, Okla., the daughter of Abner Baker and Nancy (McAtee) Lunsford.

Survivors include her daughter; Shirley Culp and her husband Harold of Balch Springs, Texas, a grandson; Kevan Culp of Mequite, Texas, eight grandchildren; Nathan Culp, Sam Culp, Monica Brockman, Kylee Culp, Dusty Scott, Raven Culp, Mike Book, and John Irwin, and a great-great granddaughter; Alexa Culp.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; Lawrence Cowan and John Bloom, four brothers; Lawson, Ray, Roy and Harry Lunsford, three sisters; Alpha Dellert, Flora Ham, and Helen Bruton, two grandsons; Pete Culp and Darryl Culp, and a granddaughter; Sherise Tuggle.

Graveside services for Pauline will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at the Uniontown Cemetery.

Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kan., 66701, prior to service.
