Disciples Christian Church collected more than 400 pairs of shoes for the Sole4Souls Mission this summer. An overwhelming response from the Nevada Community in the collection of new and used shoes allows us to be successful.

The kick off for the event began during Bushwhacker Days and concluded in July. The shoes were delivered to Bentonville, Arkansas in July by members of the Disciples Christian Church. Next, the shoes were included in a shipment by Soles4Souls to their warehouse in Alabama.

The Soles4Souls Mission will direct the men's, women's and children's shoes that were donated to places of need in both the United States and globally. Domestic and global uses for the shoes include disaster relief, children's camps for disadvantaged, abuse shelters, hospitals, homeless shelters, and orphanages.
