Greyhound Golf Classic raises funds

The Fort Scott Community College Athletic Department hosted the annual Greyhound Golf Classic on June 5. The tournament, held at the Fort Scott Country Club, had nine participating teams. The proceeds from the event benefit Fort Scott Community College athletic scholarships.

Winners of the tournament in the "A" Flight were: First place, Fort Scott Livestock/Ruddick's, Larry Martin, Mitch Quick, Rex Hall, Terry Davenport; second place, Citizens Bank I, Brian Comstock, Danny Brown, Jr., Ellis Spencer, and Danny Brown, Sr.; third place, Great Western Dining, Dan Karezewski, Rob Krumm, Wayne Hoffstetter, and Robert Rogers.

Winners in the "B" Flight were: First place, Don Dodge, Don Dodge, Mark Cumming, Randy Wrensch, and Phil Bolinger; second place, Mercy Health Center David Shepherd, John Woodrich, Todd Kahler, and Mark Gilmore; third place, Dissinger's Insurance, Ed Dissinger, Bob Marshall, Bill Stobart, and Mike Chandler.

Individual contest winners were: Longest Drive -- Chuck Scammell; Accuracy Drive -- Robert Rogers; Closest to the Pin: Terry Davenport.
