Memorial Day closings

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the following businesses will be closed Monday, May 25.

The City of Fort Scott City Offices, The Bourbon County Courthouse, The Transfer Station, The Post Office, Citizens National Bank, N.A., Landmark National Bank, Liberty Savings Association FSA, City State Bank, Union State Bank, Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union, and UMB Bank. The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce offices will be closed, however the visitor's center will be open.

All businesses will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday.

In addition, The Fort Scott Tribune will be closed. Due to the closure, there will be no newspaper published May 26.
