MEGAN "SHORTY" WERNER

Megan "Shorty" Werner, age 30, of Howard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born on May 16, 1978 in Fort Scott, Kan., to the late Terry and Melissa (Nichols) Price.

Megan was a 1996 graduate of Fredericktown High School.

Megan was a proud wife and mother, loving sister and best friend. She was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed and will always be remembered for her free spirit, bubbly personality and everlasting smile. Megan will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Werner, a daughter, Melissa Werner, a son, Tristen Werner, a sister Tera (Josh Pealer) Price of Fredericktown, father and mother-in-law, Keith and Karen Werner of Fredericktown, brothers-in-law, Jeremy (Cyndi) Werner of Fredericktown and Jared "Peanut" Werner of Westerville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m.. Rev. Joe Overholt will be officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, Ohio.
