Milken award winners presented keys to Fort Scott

Fort Scott Mayor Gary Bukowski (left) presents Lowell Milken Center award winners Michael Aw and Ashley Rippe with certificates of recognition and keys to the city on Monday at Fort Scott City Hall. Aw, a sixth grade teacher in Hopedale, Mass., and Rippe, a fifth grade teacher in Manhattan, Kan., have spent the last few weeks visiting Fort Scott to tour the town and learn more about the goal and purpose of the Lowell Milken Center.
