JACOBS -- LASEIGNE

Ashley Jacobs and Cory Lasseigne will marry in a May 30 ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover, Kan.

The Bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Brenda Jacobs, of Derby Kan., formerly of Fort Scott. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Bonnie Smith, Pleasanton.

She is a 2002 graduate of Fort Scott High School, a 2006 Graduate of Kansas State University majoring in Apparel and Textiles, and is currently attending Graduate School at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge studying Textile Science.

Her Fiance' is the son of Charles and Lennette Lasseigne of Port Allen LA. He is the grandson of Dudley and Ann Landry of Port Allen and Sadie Lasseigne of Rosedale LA.

He is a 2001 graduate of Port Allen High School, served four years in the US Air Force and is currently attending Louisiana State University majoring in International Studies and Disaster Management.
