Visitors to Fort Scott National Historic Site will enter free on Saturday, Sept. 29, as part of "National Public Lands Day". The National Park Service will join other Department of Interior agencies, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Forest Service in waiving entrance fees as a chance for citizens to experience the nation's public owned lands.
